The Mooretown Flags have hired Kevin Devine as their new Head Coach/GM for the 2026-2027 season.
Kevin has been actively involved in minor and junior hockey throughout a coaching career that spans more than three decades. He began coaching in 1990 with the Sarnia Minor Hockey Association at the Bantam and Midget levels. With the creation of the Lambton AAA program, Kevin transitioned to coach within the Bantam and Midget AAA programs for several years.
Kevin is a High Performance 1 (HP1) certified coach who continued coaching at various levels in Point Edward and Sarnia Minor Hockey, eventually returning to the Lambton AAA program in 2013 to 2023 with various bantam and midget teams culminating in 2023 with the U18 program.
In addition to minor hockey, Kevin has served in coaching and management roles with junior teams in Sarnia and Petrolia beginning in 2000 to 2004 returning again to Sarnia in 2024.
Mark Phillips will be joining Kevin as part of his bench staff. Further additions to the staff will be announced at a future date.
